Any way you look at it, I’m just not cool

I am many things but cool isn’t one of them.  In no particular order I am a mom, wife, sister, daughter, fitness instructor, friend, terrible cook, goofball and horrible multi-tasker. Although I get to do a lot of cool things, it only affirms that I am far from cool because of the situations in which I often find myself.

Something as mundane as forgetting to take out the trash apparently becomes colorful when I share the details with others. The goal of this blog is to make light of the every day crap that happens to all of us.

Maybe after visiting this blog, you’ll start to look at the things in your life and laugh as well. There might be some advice sprinkled in here and there, but it’s merely a by-product of what I have encountered. I don’t have a soap box because knowing me, I’d trip and twist my ankle if I stood on it.

Slight warning, however. Some of the stuff that happens to me might not be funny to you. It could be slightly offensive and I’ll put it in a little category of its own called “Slightly Offensive”. If you don’t like swearing or politically incorrect humor, skip this section.
